IT and Website Technical Leader/Manager
Responsible for the development and maintenance of all technical aspects of the VCChina website and LAN, including database management and web site development.
The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong technical hands-on backgrounds in database and network management
HTML web-based search, e-commerce, or other web service business experience
Linux or Unix experience
Internet and Web technology (data & object modeling methods & tools)
5+ years' experience in web development and technology
2+ years' experience in web technical managerial role
Strong project management and communication skills using both Chinese and English
Web Designer
Work closely with web content team to create and maintain the company's website, keeping current with new technologies and new ways of managing content and overall navigation. Applying a combination of pure HTML programming skills and standard web authoring programs such as FrontPage or Dreamweaver.
Responsibilities include:
Manage site architecture
Ensure accurate contents and links
Create visual design, including typography, visual concept, logo and icon design for the web
Work with internal software developers to integrate front end design elements to web systems
Design and develop diagrams using Adobe Illustrator to be used throughout the company website
